We are organising an informal camping weekend for the Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of July.
Holmsley is owned by the Forestry Commission and has plenty of shower/toilet blocks, Laundry, Dishwashing areas, Water, Waste Disposal, electric hook ups (120), there is also a small but limited shop, Take Away food and play area for children.

There is a minimum advance booking of 3 nights and if you wish to book the number is below. The site is very large - 700 pitches - so we envisage no problems, although electrical hook-ups cannot be guaranteed.
We are organising a 45 mile ride on Saturday starting at 9.30am. It will be a mixture of permissible Forest Tracks, road and disused railway (although if wet we will stay on the road) with coffee stop, picnic/pub lunch and afternoon tea.
On the Saturday night we have arranged to go to the local Harvester Inn (about 8 miles from the campsite) for our evening meal. If you wish to join us please let us know by 26th May, as we will have to book tables.
We will have another ride slightly shorter and we will try to arrange it so those of you who are leaving earlier can perhaps do part of the ride.
Friday and Saturday night £11.00 per night. Hook up £2.30
Sunday night £10.60
We require no deposits, as if you wish to stay for 3 nights this can be booked direct with the campsite (0131 314 6505) otherwise you pay when you get there. Please let us know if you will be joining us for the Saturday or Sunday rides, just to help with planning the route.
